[1] Dr. Willis Owino (Kenya)
Prof. Willis Owino is a distinguished Postharvest Scientist and an active member of the ISHS. He currently serves as the Thematic Head of Postharvest Science and Technology at the Kenya Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Kenya-AIST). In addition, he holds external examiner positions at several universities both locally and internationally. He has successfully attracted research grants from various donors and has undertaken numerous consultancy assignments in the postharvest sector. His extensive scholarly output includes supervision of over 50 postgraduate, 127 articles in peer-reviewed journals and six book chapters published by internationally reputable publishers.
[2] Dr. Sukhvinder Pal (SP) Singh (Australia)
Dr Sukhvinder Pal (SP) Singh is seeking re-election as Vice-Chair of the Division Postharvest and Quality Assurance (DPHQ). Dr Singh is a Senior Research Scientist and Institute Director with the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries, Australia. His research program focuses on fresh produce safety and quality assurance. With nearly 20 years of professional and research experience, he is widely recognised by academia, industry, and regulators. He currently serves as Director of the Australian Society of Horticultural Science and represents Australia on the ISHS Council. He is also an Associate Editor of the Journal of Horticultural Science and Biotechnology and an adjunct faculty at the University of Newcastle. During his first term, he actively supported symposium organisers and chaired divisional business meetings when required. If re-elected, he will continue working closely with ISHS and DPHQ Chair Prof Giancarlo Colelli to advance divisional goals.
[3] Dr. Di Wu (China)
Prof. Di Wu has been engaged in postharvest fruit and vegetables on cell biology, preservation packaging, cold chain equipment, and intelligent cold chains. He has been recognized as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher, an Elsevier Highly Cited Chinese Researcher, with a Web of Science h-index of 47. He also serves as Executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the SCI journal Food Quality and Safety. He has contributed to ISHS activities, serving as a Scientific Committee Member for IHC2026-S08 International Symposium on Advances in Postharvest Biology and Technology of Horticultural Crops, IV International Symposium on Beverage Crops (2026), VI International Conference on Fresh-Cut and Minimally Processed Produce (2027), and Model-IT 2027, and as a Session Chair at the V International Conference on Fresh-Cut Produce (2024) in Foggia, Italy.
