ISHS Board Members
The ISHS Board is comprised of the President, six representatives from each of the geographic regions; Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania and South America, and two ex-officio members: the President of the forthcoming International Horticultural Congress (IHC) and the ISHS Executive Director.
The President is elected by ISHS Council at least 45 days ahead of the Regional Representatives which are elected at the Council meeting concurrent with each IHC. Elected Board members serve a four-year term until the next IHC. Elected members of the Board may serve no more than two consecutive terms (eight years).
