An online meeting was recently held between Prof. Mahmoud A. Sharafeldin, Convener of the VII International Symposium on Saffron Biology and Technology, which will be part of S10 – International Symposium on Medicinal, Aromatic Plants and Natural Colorants at the XXXII International Horticultural Congress (IHC2026), 23-28 August 2026, Kyoto, Japan (https://www.ishs.org/symposium/899), and Prof. Kourosh Vahdati, President of the Iranian Society for Horticultural Science (IrSHS).
