[1] Dr. Nazim Gruda (Germany)

With more than 40 years of experience in horticultural science and international collaboration, I have developed strong leadership and organizational skills through coordinating research networks and organizing numerous international symposia. My long-standing service within ISHS reflects both scientific authority and commitment to community building. I am well-connected globally and maintain active professional relationships across regions and disciplines. At this stage of my career, I can devote more focused time and continuity to strengthening the Division and fostering trust and cooperation. I aim to support strategic development, inclusiveness, and active engagement within the scientific community. Dr. Gruda is Vice-Chair of the ISHS Division Vegetables, Roots and Tubers and Chair of the ISHS Working Group Southeastern and Eastern Europe Vegetables and Potatoes.

[2] Mr. Graeme Smith (Australia)

Notwithstanding the 8 years experience as both Vice-Chair of Division Greenhouse and Indoor Production Horticulture, and Chair of Working Group Hydroponics and Aquaponics, I have accumulated near 40 years in the global protected cropping industries in many roles and responsibilities that I believe puts me in good stead to step-up to fulfill this role through consistent advocacy and representation at local, state, national and international forums, events, conferences and symposia, whereby I feel I have assisted to help bridge the current fragmentation of industry & horticultural research activities.
