[1] Dr. Mengmeng Gu (USA)

After completing my Ph.D. at University of Arkansas, I became a professor at Mississippi State University and Texas A&M University, professor and Department Head at Colorado State University, and currently Director of Campus Extension Programs. I was the Convener for 2025 ISHS IV International Symposium on Germplasm of Ornamentals (ISGO) and served on Scientific Committee of 1st, 2nd and 3rd ISGO in China, USA and Korea, respectively, and 2013 VI International Symposium on the Taxonomy of Cultivated Plants. I have served in multiple leadership positions in American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) including Vice President-International. Currently I am an ASHS President candidate.

[2] Dr. Angeliki Paraskevopoulou (Greece)

Dr. Angeliki Paraskevopoulou is Associate Professor at the Laboratory of Floriculture & Landscape Architecture of the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece with over 30 years of experience in research in both Landscape and Urban Horticulture. Contributions include award-winning landscape designs, public space regeneration projects, and pro bono landscape horticulture work. Research spans ecologically sensitive urban planting design, plant species biodiversity, wildflower meadows and native plant species, drought and salinity effects on plant growth, green roofs, NbS, healing gardens, conservation of landscapes, and climate resilience. She has coordinated and participated in European and national research projects and authored in peer-reviewed publications.
