Modelling of Postharvest Processes

About this Working Group

Modelling postharvest processes captures 1) the characterization of physiological and physical changes of fruit, vegetables, ornamentals, and 2) the modelling of conditions in storage, packaging, shelf life in interaction with the product. This Working Group organizes the symposium series Model-IT to exchange on the methodology, results, simulations, and new challenges. The first Model-IT symposium took place in Wageningen (1997, initiated by Pol Tijskens, Maarten Hertog and Bart Nicolaï).
