Asparagus

About this Working Group

The Working Group Asparagus is a gathering of researchers who share a common interest in asparagus scientific research. This research includes, but is not limited to, the following: asparagus taxonomy, genetic analysis of cultivated asparagus and other closely related species, breeding and new cultivar development, physiology, cultural practices, environmental control, water management, soil and soilless media, fertility management, pests and diseases and their control and management, harvest and postharvest management, processing and packaging, nutrition, customer experience, markets and marketing.
