Abstract
This presentation describes the accredited certificate programs and other university coursework in horticultural therapy in the United States.
Information about degree options, qualification of teachers, as well as student numbers, demographics and backgrounds are outlined.
Additionally, statistics on job placement and credentialing of graduates through the AHTA system of professional registration are communicated.
It reports the results of a survey of the educational program leaders concerning key points on which they would like to collaborate to better serve their students and expand the career potential to apply horticulture as a therapeutic tool.
