Abstract
Research was conducted to assess the effects of selected biostimulants on lychee in the nursery.
Commercially available formulations of biostimulants based on a) peptides, b) free amino acids, c) vitamins and brassinosteroids were evaluated in comparison to check plants without biostimulant application.
Lychee plants received 200 mL of aqueous solutions of the biostimulants as soil drench every two weeks.
All the biostimulants affected root and above-ground biomass, with the peptide treatment being more effective in increasing overall plant performance over control plants, as compared the other bioregulators evaluated.
