Abstract
Two-year-old apple trees and 8-year-old pear trees in very densely-planted orchards were treated with PP333 at different times and concentrations, and with SADH or CCC, in order to obtain compact fruit trees and early bearing.
PP333 applied twice in the concentration of 1 000 ppm gave the best results in suppressing growth and increasing flowering of young apple trees.
The same treatments applied to pear trees gave variable results.
