Abstract
A factorial experiment was conducted to determine yield response of the native blackberry, or ‘Mora de Castilla’ (Rubus glaucus Benth.), to applications of urea, triple superphosphate, and K2SO4. Each fertilizer was applied at 50 and 100 kg/ha N, P, or K, making a total of 27 treatments.
Only N increased yield.
Both rates increased the number of fruits per plant, yield per plant, and yield per ha.
Although fruit size was larger on plants receiving N, the effect was not statistically significant.
Yields per plant and per ha were significantly greater at 100 than at 50 kg of N per ha.
Interaction between elements was not observed.
