Abstract
The presentation of the comparative study on the physical and chemical analysis of horticultural substrates once more stresses the urgent need of a standard method in order to compare the results of the different laboratories, chemically as well as physically.
The discussion following this paper enabled us to summarize some general agreements.
A special working session will be held (Feb. 1988) in Ghent (Belgium) to propose a fully described standard or reference method.
