Abstract
To determine control of Thielaviopsis black rot of pineapple and to assess possible cultivar resistance, 3 fungicides – Triadimefon, Imazalil and Triadimenol – and two cultivars – "Red Spanish" and "Smooth Cayenne" – were compared.
The results show that Triadimenol was the best although none of the fungicides achieved complete control; and that "Red Spanish" was more prone to rot damages than "Smooth Cayenne", in correlation with a higher degree of TSS.
The results show that Triadimenol was the best although none of the fungicides achieved complete control; and that "Red Spanish" was more prone to rot damages than "Smooth Cayenne", in correlation with a higher degree of TSS.
