Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to highlight items for discussion during a one-morning workshop on Critical assessment of modelling approaches in Integrated Crop Management.
This paper is based on information provided in nine papers that were submitted for this workshop (Blaise et al., Boshuizen and van der Maas; DeJong; Graf et al.; Groot; Hardman et al.; Mols and Boers; Szafran et al.; van der Werf et al.; all in this volume) in response to the questions listed in Rossing et al. (this volume). Distinction is made between process-based research models, which are considered in section 2, and decision support systems, which are addressed in section 3.
