Abstract
Flexible film packaging is a convenient alternative to rigid materials like cans and bottles and capable of lowering production cost.
Evaluation of the condition of the weaning food was studied when stored in low density polyethylene at tropical conditions for a period of 6 to 12 months under room and outside conditions.
Overall quality attributes of Soyamusa were satisfactory for at least 6 months after processing.
However, moisture up-take and off flavour development were major problems.
