Abstract
The traditional use of botanicals is still the primary source of health care in the Amazon.
Standardization of final products is the Amazonian Biotechnology Center’s primary focus.
Special attention will be given to final products to assure quality, safety and efficacy.
Thus, later these products could be included in public health campaigns.
