Abstract
FAO has been working over the past years to develop and promote simple, low cost and easy to manage soilless culture technology adapted for the resources-poor urban families with no access to agriculture land.
This technology is known as “micro garden systems” that allows a broad range of vegetables and condiments to be grown on small areas like balconies, roof tops and patios.
