Abstract
The Philippines vegetable industry is restructuring due to changes in the demand and the structure of supply.
Demand in urban areas is moving towards more convenient vegetable products.
Supply is restructuring as modern supply chains increase market share, retail and processing industries concentrate, and farms become smaller.
Despite these challenges, two small producer groups have successfully increased their members income by working together to market their produce and to access modern markets.
