Abstract
In 1984 and 1985, the use of Freuler’s Swiss egg trap for recording oviposition of the cabbage root fly has been compared in a preference and a non-preference situation.
It is concluded that a non-preference situation gives a more reliable indication of early oviposition of D. radicum.
