Abstract
An experimental procedure is described to determine transmittance and scattering coefficients, using a test rig both, outdoors under prevailing climatic conditions, and indoors under a solar simulator.
The results of tests on several transparent and semi-transparent plastic materials are reported, showing the transmittance and scattering coefficients for each and the variation of these coefficients with the angle of incidence of the direct insolation.
