Abstract
The floricultural industry in the United States has many characteristics that distinguish it from the European counterpart.
At present, the industry is in a dynamic change regarding production technology, organization, location of production, distribution methods and marketing.
It should, therefore, prove of interest, if not instructive, to review briefly the industry as it stands today, and to discuss its current trends.
