Abstract
Four experiments with supplemental irradiation of DENDRANTHEMA have been carried out.
In these experiments growth and development were compared under two different light sources (High Pressure Sodium (HPS, SON-T-agro) and High Pressure Metal-halide (HPMH, HQI-T)) at equal PPFD-level.
Light was given additionally to normal daylight.
The results show in general, that at equal PPFD the plant growth (as compared by dry matter) tends to be the same.
The light quality on the other hand seems to influence plant height, flower size and time of flowering.
