Abstract
The IL 150 Plant Growth Photometer is a portable and relatively inexpensive instrument, specially designed to measure the spectral energybands responsible for plant growth.
Data obtained by simultaneous measurements with a solarimeter and an IL 150 photometer were compared.
Plant growth responses in measured light conditions were analysed.

Special emphasis is laid on the question of whether any additional information can be obtained about plant growth responses to light using an IL 150 photometer, compared with the use of solarimetric data.
