Abstract
Construction and function of a stationary laboratory are described.
Measurements can be carried out under controlled conditions: temperature, humidity, air turbulence, CO2 – concentration, light intensity, and temperature of nutrient solution.
CO2 exchange is measured by the reference method, and transpiration by the compensation method.

This appartus is used for moderate short-time experiments.
The accuracy of these measurements is discussed.
Results of CO2 exchange and transpiration from single leaves of intact plants under different air temperature, air humidity, light intensity, and concentration of nutrient solution are demonstrated.
