Abstract
A computer program for the fertilization of private gardens is presented.
The program calculates the fertilizer demand for different plants of the kitchen garden and flower garden.
It takes into consideration the nutrient demand of the different crops as well as the nutrient supply by manure, compost, crop residues, green manure (legumes), and soil.
The program is easy to handle, even by the amateur gardener.
Primary target is the reduction of the widespread overfertilization in private gardens.
An additional version includes the possibility of using the nutrient content of organic fertilizers.
This version is particularly suitable for commercial vegetable and fruit production, compost producers, public green, advisers and soil analysis laboratories.
