Abstract
In hybridization of Leucospermum patersonii x L. conocarpodendron the hybrids obtained were resistant to high pH soils.
Additional resistant hybrids were sought by screening spontaneous hybrids of different varieties.
In the first step, germination rate of the seeds obtained by open pollination of different varieties was measured.
Potential hybrids were screened among the seedlings.
