DEVELOPMENT IN MARKET ECONOMICS

In our commission, some scientists deal with market economics.
But their research is still in its infancy and many fields are yet unexplored.

This conclusion proceeds from a survey of our newsletter and papers in the four symposia (1968, 70,72,75). This method may be critizied; many papers deal with both production ad market economics (and it is a good thing); moreover classifying papers in different categories, on the basis of only one criterion, is a difficult task and the authors would not agree with the result; finally, categories are somewhat arbitrary.

Nevertheless, this method gives us a first overall picture of the research in the fields of market economics.
