Abstract
In the case of France, the role of horticultural policy is limited.
If sometimes, its action has pushed or slowed down the process of industrialization, it seems to be much more the product than one of the determinant factors of industry evolution.
Therefore we can say that the horticultural policy has followed the evolution of the economic system.
