Abstract
The heat loss of a greenhouse is dependent upon the temperature difference between inside and outside.
If the air temperature near the roof (where the heat transfer occurs) is greater than that in the crop zone, energy is wasted.
Vertical temperature gradients which result from several types of heating systems in different greenhouses are compared.
