Abstract
Fire blight caused by Erwinia amylovora is a major threat to pome fruit production (e.g., apple, pear) in Europe.
Several forecasting models have been developed that enable producers to predict high-risk infection dates based on weather patterns and to estimate the onset of symptoms for efficient implementation of monitoring and eradication measures.
Output of the most widely used model, Maryblyt™ was modified to develop an online interface that improves end-user access to daily forecasting data.
