Abstract
Curling of leaves in tomatoes in India has been said to be due to a virus called, Tomato leaf-curl virus.
The correct identity of the virus(es) involved has not yet been done.
We hereby report several types of rod-like virus particles as seen under electron microscope in infected tomato plants.
Preliminary investigations about the transmission of the disease to other test plants, and the serological aspects have also been mentioned.
