About this Working Group
Working Group Olive Culture is a group of researchers working on all aspects of basic and applied research in olive, including: breeding and genetics, crop physiology and biology, orchard design, propagation, planting systems, canopy management, soil management, irrigation and fertilization, crop protection and harvest. Issues related to climate change and sustainable orchard management, precision management and new technologies, table olive and olive oil processing, quality and safety, olive oil health benefits, adulteration, by-products, marketing, including economics, certification and rural policy are also of interest to this working group.
