Abstract
Pyrethrum farming in Rwanda is a long-established culture, spanning seven decades since its introduction to the country.
Subsistence farming is common in Rwanda; however, the government is increasingly introducing commercial farming through crop intensification and land consolidation programs.
Pyrethrum, together with coffee, tea, and a few other horticultural products, are currently the main agricultural exports for Rwanda.
