Abstract
The chemical composition of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) of Rosa iberica Stev. leaves were isolated by using headspace extraction.
Headspace analysis of the leaves identified 41 compounds which represent about 97.1% of the total compositions.
The main leaves headspace components were α-pinene (19.8%), β-chamigrene (18.1%), cis-muurola-4(14),5-diene (11.6%) and α-himachalene (10.7%). This is the first report of different chemical compositions of R. iberica leaves VOCs from the north of Iran.
