Abstract
Lilium rubellum Baker is distributed in the north part of Honshu, the main island of Japan.
It is belongs to section Archelirion and have been used as important parent species of Oriental hybrid lily cultivars.
This species has pink coloured tepals with red coloured spots.
However their genetic diversity has not been analysed.
We performed morphological and microsatellite (SSR) analysis.
We used 145 individual from 12 populations for morphological analysis and 185 individuals from 12 populations for SSR analysis.
These results indicated that L. rubellum has genetic differences among populations.
