Abstract
This research aims to identify the factors influencing chilli farmers’ adoption rate of good agricultural practices (GAP) through logistic regression.
Data was compiled from a survey of 196 chilli farmers in Phrae, Nan and Chaiyaphum provinces, Thailand.
The logit model showed that the adoption of GAP in chilli farming occurred among farmers who had a high education level, a high number of family members, a small farm size, used hybrid seed, had more experience in chilli cultivation, had more knowledge about GAP and foresaw greater benefits from the adoption of GAP, and were located in Nan and Chaiyaphum provinces.
