Abstract
Little is known about existance of endogenous rhythm in pollen tube growth and hormonal response pattern.
Present investigation deals with studies on endogenous rhythm and hormonal response in pollen germination and tube elongation of A. esculentus pollen.
Observations support existance of endogenous rhythm in pollen tube germination and tube elongation of A. esculentus under hormonal treatments and emphasize its implications in fertilization biology, fruiting and productivity of this vegetable crop.
