Abstract
When the results of the biotests and the results in the field are compared, we concluded that the biotest was rather reliable, especially for Chloropicrin and in the cases of high degree of soil sickness.
The reliability can be improved by improving the technique of the biotest.
Field treatments against soil sickness were very often profitable, even on lighter soil sickness.
Chloropicrin is usually the best product, especially in case of severe soil sickness, but it is very expensive.
