Abstract
Rhabdovirus-like particles (RLPs) were found in ultrathin sections of a strawberry crinkle virus (SCV) graft-inoculated Fragaria vesca UC-5 indicator plant.
The particles occurred mainly in leaf parenchyma cells and hypertrophied tissue surrounding the vascular bundle.
Mature RLPs were found in mildly affected cells of vascular bundles and were enclosed by cytoplasmic membranes.
