Abstract
Out of the total number of appr. 500 cultivars and species, 9 cultivars of HEBE are in production as pot plants in Denmark.
Another 48 clones of cultivars and species have been collected and evaluated for suitablily over the last two years.

The clones are divided into two groups, those suitable as foliage pot plants and those suitable as flowering pot plants.
Propagation times, periods and conditions for production and control of flowering are among the themes being analysed.
Research protocol, collaboration with growers and preliminary results are described.
