ADVISORY SERVICE FOR PURCHASERS OF FLOWER BULBS OUTSIDE THE NETHERLANDS

Since 1925 the Dutch Flowerbulb Industry has had its own promotional institute called "The International Flower Bulb Center". One of the promotional means used by this organization is the provision of technical advice.
This is the responsability of the Technical Advisory Department.
This department has a number of aims which the provision of information seeks to fulfill.

These aims are defined within a strategical plan which identifies the different target groups and target markets.

Knowledge transfer is an important point in disseminating information.
The knowledge which is available must be constantly increased and updated from various research institutes and companies, both at home and abroad.

After the information has been prepared for specific needs, it is tailored to the different target groups according to their size and type, which ranges from the individual to mass advisory.
Information takes various forms such as books, bulletins, lectures etc.
