Abstract
Plantlets were obtained from in vitro cultures of scape nodes of Oncidium, Dendrobium and Phalaenopsis. Oncidium was cultured on Vacin and Went medium (1949) while Dendrobium and Phalaenopsis were cultured on revised Murashige and Skoog medium (1962). Both media were supplemented with benzylamino purine (BAP). Protocorm-like bodies were multiplied in liquid medium and later transferred into solid medium for the formation of plantlets.
Some plantlets also developed directly from the nodes.
