Abstract
Malaysia is seriously embarking on its beautification programme.
Landscaping works are being emphasized especially in the urban areas.
This paper highlights the landscape management practices that are being carried out by private and public sectors, the quality of finished landscape, and the functional beauty.
It also explores problems in management during the process of creating, developing and maintaining a pleasant living environment.
