Abstract
Graftings, cuttings, and in-vitro-plants respectively of rhododendrons are said to have different characters in growth, flowering and vitality.
A long term growth comparison of Rhododendron-hybrids propagated by different techniques shall show if differences occur or not.
Growth, habit, flowering, winter hardiness, and some other characters have been evaluated.
No significant differences could be found in all tested characters.
The plants should be observed for further 10 years.
