Abstract
Strawberry is one of the most important small fruit in Poland (production about 200 000 ton a year). The yield is reduced by some pests and diseases, which have to be controled every year.
Spray application technique influences spray coverage uniformity and pests and diseases control effect.
For control of strawberry mite the youngest leaves have to be covered, for control of twospotted spider mite, both sides of the older leaves need to be sprayed, but to control the grey mold – the flower clusters and flowers have to be treated.
It means, that for chemical protection of strawberry plantations special sprayers are needed.
