Abstract
A virus was isolated from Sambucus ebulus growing in the environs of Zagreb (Yugoslavia) and mechanically transmitted to 14 herbaceous plant species.
The physical and serological properties of the virus were also investigated partially.
On the basis of data obtained it is supposed that this virus is cherry leaf roll virus.
It seems that this is the first time that a virus has been isolated from S. ebulus.
