Abstract
More than 180 isolates of 70 temperate fruit germplasm-borne pathogens are maintained in a collection at the USDA gene bank for temperate fruit crops in Corvallis, Oregon.
These pathogens are maintained as infected potted plants in screenhouses, and are available to researchers to use as controls for detection programs, and as reference cultures for developing and evaluating new technologies.
