Abstract
Several techniques were used to screen durian cultivars for resistance to Phytophthora palmivora. Disease incidence on leaves, stems and fruit corresponded with field performance of these cultivars.
Root colonization and infection also showed similar results.
Chanee was the most resistant cultivar, whereas Kanyao, Kadoom and Monthong were quite susceptible.
