Abstract
Several apple cultivars have been released from breeding programme carried out at ISF-TN and all of them are characterised by resistance to apple scab, a constant aim in the programme.
The last two selections with very promising results are Netta and Ciosa.
Netta is a yellow apple with pink stripes, resistant to apple scab incited by the fungus Venturia inaequalis. Also resistant is Ciosa, which has a yellow fruit with a high amount of red over-colour.
