Abstract
In this study, the budding time, days to anthesis and the seed formation of tsai-hsin (Brassica campestris L.) were investigated.
The budding time, days to anthesis and the seed formation in seven different cultivars of tsai-hsin, under natural conditions were investigated.
Differences between cultivars were observed in the budding time and in the days to anthesis.
The budding time and the days to anthesis for ‘Chugoku-saishin’ and ‘Autumn-poem’ were delayed than other varieties.
Moreover, pollination done on the same day of anthesis tended to reduce the number of seeds.
